The undergraduate degree should be of either a three-year or four-year duration, with multiple entry and exit options within this period. The four years bachelor's programme is the preferred option as it allows the opportunity to experience the full range of holistic and multidisciplinary education with a focus on major and minor subjects as per the student’s preference. The undergraduate programme shall extend over four academic years (eight semesters).
Any subject in a discipline in which the student wants to graduate for a three-year bachelor degree or four-year bachelor degree with honours/research.
Any subject other than the major, available in the college/offsite campus from any discipline.
Any subject of the student's choice that is interdisciplinary from faculties other than the major. The subject opted for shall not be repeated in any semester.
This may include Modern Indian Language (MIL), English language (general), communication skill, mathematical ability. MIL includes Hindi/Dogri/Urdu/Punjabi.
The courses shall be chosen from the basket of courses from NSQF as notified by the University of Jammu. The university departments/respective board of studies can propose new courses in addition to NSQF.
A short-term internship of 15 days in the 5th semester for job/professional training in a suitable organization or hands-on training at the college level to gain work experience. Supervised by a college teacher, the student must produce a report related to the work carried out.
Applicable to students in the 8th semester of the undergraduate research program, this involves solving, analyzing, or exploring a real-life situation/complex problem. It aims to provide research competencies at the undergraduate level.
09 Credits of AEC Courses (03 Credits each) from 1st to 3rd Semester.

Each student is required to undergo 02 credits of internship in the 5th semester.
Students pursuing an Undergraduate Degree (Research) shall be required to undergo a Research project/Dissertation of 12 credits in the 8th semester.
Note: Students can swap between Minor and Major at the start of the 3rd semester only if vacancies are available after following the procedure laid down for the purpose. The college shall notify the vacancies, which are to be filled in order of merit out of the applicants.
