Each course shall be comprised of mid-semester assessment tests and end-semester examinations. The responsibility of conducting and evaluating the mid-semester assessment test lies with the course coordinator. The end-semester examination shall be conducted by the University, and question papers will be set by the Controller of Examinations, except for skill and value-added courses. The mid-semester assessment marks awarded to the students in each course shall be displayed on the notice board at least one week before the commencement of the end-semester examination.
The 03/04-credit papers shall have 04 and 03 units, respectively. The evaluation of the skill and value-added courses will be internal.
Practical/Tutorial components in a course (major/minor) extend the theory program in a 3+1 credit course structure (3 credits of theory and 1 credit for practical/tutorial). For a four-credit paper:

Section A: Four short-answer questions, one from each unit, all to be attempted. Each question carries 3 marks.
Section B: Eight long-answer questions, two from each unit. Students must attempt one question from each unit. Each question carries 12 marks.

Note:
Each student must complete a 2-credit internship worth 50 marks in the 5th semester. The Internship Report, signed by the Internship Supervisor and College Principal, will be evaluated internally by a board set up by the Principal.
Students pursuing an Undergraduate Degree (Honors with Research) must complete a Research Project/Dissertation worth 12 credits (300 marks) in the 8th semester.
